Orchis palustris (Orchis palustris) occurs in Slovakia in the following habitats: wet meadows, fen meadows. It is considered as critically endangered species. The main treats are habitat destruction, secondary succession, draining of swampy or seasonally submerged wetlands, peat extraction (mining).
